cumulative GPA above a 3.0
- 58 percent of the student-athletes achieved a 3.0 or higher
- 31 percent of the student-athletes were placed on the Dean’s List
- 12 percent of the student-athletes had a perfect 4.0 for the semester.
- 50 percent of the student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Program Details

Each student-athlete signs a Buckley Amendment Release form at the beginning of each academic year. This release authorizes the Athletic Department to have access to their academic information. The Student-Athlete Support Services Office receives midterm grades for all first-year student-athletes and final semester grades for all student-athletes. Progress reports are mailed to all professors around midterms. For those student-athletes who are deemed at-risk, contact will be made with their professors earlier in the semester to ensure that they have started off the semester well. Student-athletes with a cumulative GPA below a 2.2 or a previous semester GPA below a 2.0 are required to meet with an Academic Support staff member once every two weeks during the semester to discuss academic progress and receive any necessary study skills, test-taking tips, time management, or goal setting assistance.
