
Legesse Post Third Straight Top 20 Performance

GREENSBORO, N.C. –The Highlanders men's cross country team participated in the Haganstone Park Invitational in Greensboro, N.C. this weekend. Senior Dawit Legesse continues to impress with his third straight top 20 performance in three races.
Legesse was the first Highlander to cross the finish line in sixth place with a time of 26:15.50.
“Individually we had strong performances. I am pleased with the training” said Coach McGranahan. “We raced well and are getting ready for November”.
Fellow senior Joel Hanlon (Winchester, Va./Millbrook) placed 16th with a time of 26:59 and Nathan Turner (Lynchburg, Va./Brookville) crossed the finish line in 72nd with a time of 29:12.
