Radford Women's Soccer Seeded Sixth in Upcoming Big South Tournament

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Defending Big South women's soccer champion Radford will be the No. 6 seed in the upcoming conference tournament, and will face host and third-seeded Charleston Southern in first round action on Thursday (Nov. 5) at 7 p.m.
The Highlanders (8-10-0), which finished the regular season tied for fifth place with VMI at 5-4-0, earned the No. 6 seed by virtue of their loss to the Keydets on Friday.
Radford begins defense of its 2008 Big South tournament title, the third in program history, against the host Buccaneers. This season, the Highlanders earned a 2-1 overtime win over Charleston Southern on Oct. 10, Radford's only road win of the season.
All games of the tournament will be played at Charleston Southern's campus facility, Blackbaud Stadium.
