RADFORD, Va. – Following a standout freshman season, Radford midfielder Myles Jones (Redditch, England/Studley) was recently named to the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region Men's Soccer Third Team.
The NSCAA nod is the third postseason honor for Jones, who was named to the Big South's all-conference second team and all-freshman team.
A midfielder/defender that led Radford true freshmen in games started this season with 15, Jones was part of a Radford defense that allowed goals per game (fourth, Big South) and posted three shutouts, including two in Big South play (Liberty, VMI). Jones finished a pair of assists - both came in Radford's 2-2 tie at Winthrop on Oct. 17.
