
Beall Tabbed Big South Player of the Week

RADFORD, Va. – Nichole Beall (Culpeper, Va./Culpeper County) was tabbed Big South Player of the Week, announced by the league office this afternoon. She becomes the fifth Highlander and the second consecutive freshman to receive a weekly accolade.
In six games last week, Beall hit .471 with two round trippers and drove in seven. She recorded three multiple-hit games, registering at least one base knock and one RBI in five of the six contests. The third baseman posted a slugging percentage of .824 and an on-base percentage of .550 while going a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases.
The Highlanders hit the road for a mid-week nonconference doubleheader at Marshall on Wednesday, April 8. First game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
