
Men's Cross Country Places Fourth in Season-Opening Meet

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Radford men's cross country team posted a team score of 70 points, which was good for fourth place overall at the Virginia Tech Cross Country Relays Friday afternoon.
The Radford duo of Sam Keltner (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) and Liam Arocho (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) finished 22nd overall, teaming up to clock in at an even 50:00.00, with each running two 3.5K legs.
The team of Nathan Turner (Lynchburg, Va.) and Steven McConchie (Roanoke, Va./William Byrd) came in right behind their teammates in 23rd place, posting a time of 51:52.30.
The Highlanders placed three teams in the top 25 at the meet.
Radford will return to action on September 19 at the Big South Preview.
