GREENSBORO, N.C. – Aimee Veatch (Roanoke, Va./Cave Spring) will compete for Radford at the NCAA East Regional Track and Field Championships, May 27-29 at North Carolina A&T State University.

Veatch, the school record-holder in the hammer throw, will be making her second appearance in the NCAA Regional. She reached the regional qualifying mark with a school record toss of 58.07m (190’6”) at the Big South Championships. Ranked 21st in the region, Veatch reached a distance of 55.00m five times and went over 57.00m two times in 2009-10. To go along with her regional ranking, she placed first four times and recorded seven Top-10 finishes.
