CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the second time in three years, the Radford University women’s golf team has received the Big South Conference’s Team Sportsmanship Award, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

The team awards are voted on by the Big South student-athletes and awarded at the end of each competitive season. Each institution ranks and votes for its top three (excluding themselves) and teams receive three points for a first-place ranking, two points for a second-place ranking and one point for a third-place ranking.

Coming off its highest finish in school at the Big South Championships, Radford concluded its season under second-year head coach Jeff Beeler with three Top-5 finishes and five Top-10 showings.
