MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES THIRD AT VMI XC RELAYS

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Radford men's cross country team boasted a third place finish in the season-opening VMI Cross Country Relays Friday afternoon at the Virginia Horse Center.
The Highlanders were led by a seventh place showing and a time of 42:51.00 by sophomore Sam Keltner and newcomer Brian Gorwitz.
Nathan Turner and Chris Weeks also turned in a strong showing, as the tandem crossed the finish line at 44:21.00, which was good enough for 13th place.
The first individual meet for Radford comes on Saturday, Sept. 11 at the JMU Invitational.
