WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RECORDS SECOND-PLACE FINISH AT VMI

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Radford women's cross country team recorded a second place showing in the season-opening VMI Cross Country Relays Friday afternoon at the Virginia Horse Center.
The duo of freshman Jessica Arneson and sophomore Hannah Scheren led the way for the women placing third with a time of 38:48.00.
The Highlanders' Ashley Lounsbury and Maggie Wissler also recorded a top 15 finish, placing 11th at 41:35.00.
The first individual meet for Radford comes on Saturday, Sept. 11 at the JMU Invitational.
