
PAIGE REESE SELECTED TO CAPITAL ONE ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT® FIRST TEAM

RADFORD, Va. – Rising senior Paige Reese has been named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District® First Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), and announced by the organization Friday afternoon.
The 2013 Capital One Academic All-District® At-Large Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Capital One has been the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA's Academic All-America® teams since 2011.
Reese and the rest of the First-Team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
The Academic All-District® teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. Reese was part of District 3, which represents North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
A double major in management and marketing, Reese carries a 4.0 GPA. She was named Radford's Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and to the Big South women's golf all-academic team. The South Hill, Va. native is an active member of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and volunteers a great deal of her time to participating in community service projects and events.
