MCGUIRE INKS TWO FORWARDS TO 2017 SIGNING CLASS

RADFORD, Va. – Laney Corbin and Tina Lindenfeld have signed with Radford women's basketball announced head coach Mike McGuire, Wednesday morning. The two in-state forwards will debut for the Highlanders in the 2017-18 campaign.

"Today is such an awesome day for recruits, their families and our basketball program. Today is a day where dreams do come true for young ladies across the country. We are so excited to announce the signing of Tina Lindenfeld and Laney Corbin into our basketball family. Both are well rounded ladies that come from wonderful families that will impact our program on and off the court.  Both bring immediate versatility and skill that will help our offense for years to come. They have the ability to play multiple positions and can shoot the ball with great range."

"We are also excited that we continue to have recruiting success within the Commonwealth of Virginia. We want to make Virginia a priority and we want to have a program that in-state recruits want to be a part of. I know both are excited to help our program compete at a high level."

"I would also like to thank our coaching staff, including Fran Recchia and Jamey Givens, for their commitment in recruiting our 2017 class. We always take pride in a real, but genuine approach with our recruiting. Because of that, we have landed two young ladies in Tina and Laney that are great fits for our program."
