SETTING THE STAGE

Elon was briefly a member of the Big South conference from 1999 to 2003 before they left for the Southern Conference (SoCon). They are now a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA)
Wednesday's contest marks the third and final game of the Highlanders' early season road swing
The Phoenix are coming off a busy weekend in which they played three games in three days as part of the Black & Gold Shootout

SERIES HISTORY

Radford and Elon have met 12 times with the Highlanders holding an 8-4 advantage in the series
The first meeting between the two programs came on December 24^th, 1997 and Radford won the Christmas Eve contest, 86-59
Radford hosted the Phoenix in the Dedmon Center last season and earned a 68-56 victory

Hitting the offensive glass and creating second chance points have been an emphasis and it shows. Radford leads the Big South in offensive rebounds per game with 14.0

Junior forward Tyler Seibring was tabbed Preseason First Team All-CAA while senior forward Brian Dawkins earned Preseason Second Team All-CAA
The Phoenix are a high-scoring team, posting 80.2 points per game on a .451 shooting percentage
Elon is also a strong rebounding team, pulling down 41.3 rebounds per game
Fast starts have been a trademark of the Phoenix so far this season as they outscore opponents 240-208 in the first half
