Struck out a career-best five in eight-inning defeat against Marshall.

Big South All-Tournament selection... Picked up win with 2.2 innings of one-hit shutout relief in 1-0 victory over Gardner-Webb... Tossed 3-hit shutout in tourney opener vs. Winthrop... Big South Pitcher of the Year… First Team All-Big South and State… Second Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region… Sported ninth best ERA (1.12), a new school record, in the NCAA... Seventh in the nation in walks per seven innings (0.94)… Held opponents to a .224 average and twirled a league-best six shutouts… Went 31.2 innings without an earned run and surrendered just one earned run over final 51.1 innings of league play… Suffered season-ending injury prior to final conference series of the year (May 7-8)… Was 8-1 with a 0.49 ERA in league contests… Four-time Big South Pitcher of the Week… Started 9-0 tying for best start to season in program history... Logged scoreless streaks of 23 and 21.2 innings, respectively... Earned win in first collegiate start vs. Toledo (5 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 2 K).
2010 HIGHLIGHTS
Joined team on March 30 and made first appearance at Longwood one day later, striking out first batter she faced... Earned first victory with 3.2 innings of shutout relief at James Madison... Finished season 2-1 with a 2.03 ERA in 10 appearances… Tossed a season-high six innings at North Carolina… Earned relief victory in 11-10 victory vs. Presbyterian… Made appearance in regional final against eventual national semifinalist Georgia and allowed two runs on four hits with a pair of strikeouts.
