2011 Radford Invitational


The 2011 Radford Invitational will feature six schools competing from March 18-20 at the Botetourt Sports Complex in Botetourt, Va.

The host Highlanders welcome Pittsburgh, Robert Morris, Ball State, Georgetown and Delaware for three days of round-robin collegiate softball competition on two fields. Each team will play a total of five games. A tournament champion will be determined at the conclusion of play on Sunday, along with a the announcement of an all-tournament team.

The Invitational will also be associated with breast cancer awareness. All weekend fans will have an opportunity by purchase cancer awareness trinkets with all proceeds going towards Susan G. Komen for the Cure® the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested nearly $1.5 billion since inception in 1982.

Spectators are encouraged to wear pink this weekend and support the fight against breast cancer.

Prices for the tournament are as follows:

Adult Daily $6, Students Daily $3, 12 & under Free.

Adult three-day pass $15, two-day pass $10.
